Shrink My Pics ("we", "the site") provides a free, browser-based image resizing and conversion tool. This policy explains what data is and isn't collected when you use it.
Images you resize or convert are processed entirely within your own browser using JavaScript, Canvas, and WebAssembly. They are never uploaded, transmitted, or stored on our servers — we simply don't have a mechanism to receive them. Once you close or refresh the tab, processed images are gone unless you've downloaded them.
We may use third-party services such as Google AdSense to display ads and Google Analytics (or similar) to understand site traffic. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, and may use this data to personalize ads. You can control ad personalization via Google Ads Settings and manage cookies via your browser settings.
This tool loads open-source image-compression libraries (libwebp, mozjpeg builds via the jSquash project) from a public CDN (jsDelivr) to improve compression quality. Loading these files may share your IP address and browser information with the CDN provider, consistent with normal web browsing.
We do not set first-party cookies to identify you personally. Third-party ad/analytics providers may set their own cookies as described above.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
Questions about this policy can be sent to the contact address listed on the site.
